Wolf Brotherhood

Many of the people who have come into Woden's Folk have done so through what we call the Call of the Blood - they have been drawn in some way to us. Some have also taken on a Wodenic name associated with the Wolf, whilst most have some form of link to the Wolf as a Totem Animal. The aim of Woden's Folk (at an Inner Level) is to build the basis for a future Germanic Mannerbund in a form suited to our era, which means that we have to first regain the knowledge of how this worked, and then build for the future English Youth a Cultic Warrior Brotherhood.

The Death's Head or Skull and Crossbones is the symbol used of this type of Warrior Brotherhood since it is based upon the Totenkult (Death-Cult) and the Ahnenkult (Ancestral Cult). The idea is that the Cultic-Warrior takes on the role of the Ancestral Warrior, and in fact actually becomes that Ancestral Warrior.

The 'pirate' version of the Skull & Crossbones suggests a direct link with Woden as the One-Eyed Wolf-God (Hunter-God). This could be why an 'eye-patch' is worn over the right eye in this version. Madame Blavatsky, in The Secret Doctrine, suggests that this symbol derived from the ChiRo symbol, which itself seems to suggest a bind-rune of the Gyfu-Rune (Crossed Bones) and the Wyn-Rune (Skull). The Wyn-Rune seems to have certain links to the Wild Huntsman or Wild Hunter-God also known as the Wunsc-Frey ('Wish-Lord'), no doubt through his link to 'Santa Claus' (he grants 'wishes').

Figurines such as this suggest that this is Woden, again with the eye missing, and there are many versions of this. That Woden was known as the One-Eyed God can be gleamed from his title Har which Snorri seems to translate as 'High One' but which is rooted in the term HariR which means 'one-eyed'.

This version of the Wolf-God is not so clear since it has been drawn from the original, which has the right eye missing, or at least damaged. There are versions with the left eye missing, but the explanation may not be that they are inter-changeable, but represent different aspects of Woden, in the above case he is seen as the One-Eyed Hunter-God who leads his Wolf-Warriors or Wolf-Brotherhood.

Hamasson has shown that the Wolf-Rune (above) fits with the seven stars of Orion the Hunter and thus is a Rune of the Hunter-God. The rune is made up of an Eiwhaz-Rune (Eoh) with a cross-bar; the Eihwas-Rune is associated with Wuldor who we see as a winter aspect of Woden, and he is usually portrayed as wearing a wolf-skin and riding skis across the snows of the Northlands. The rune-name Eihwaz is rooted in the IE Root *aiw which means 'Vital Force' and is related to 'Eternity' - in other words this refers to a force that exists outside the Cycles of Time.

Whereas the Herne Giant is the winter aspect (Wuldor) the Long Man of Wilmington is the summer aspect (Waendel) or spring aspect, and related to the constellation of Cygnus the Swan, rather than Orion the Hunter. What is noticeable about the hill-figure above is that the landscape is 'cut out' like an inverted triangle which is rather a 'coincidence' in that Cygnus the Swan is part of what is known as the Summer Triangle.

This symbol is called the Wolf's Eye and obviously refers to Woden as the One-Eyed Wolf-God. It is a swastika in the form of the Germanic Ing-Rune, and thus an ideal symbol for the Sons of Ingwe. It is also a bind-rune made up of crossed Eihwaz-Runes and thus another form of the Vital Force that exists in Eternity and outside the Cycles of Time. Looked at another way it is the Wolf-Hook Rune crossed with another of the same. This is the Eye of Woden who is the Wolf-God.

This painting by Franz von Stuck, done in 1889, titled Der Wilde Jagd (The Wild Huntsman), shows the god Wotan bearing the Spear of Wotan and leading the Souls of the Dead with his Two Wolves by his side. Interestingly, he wears a Red Cape which fits exactly with a dream I had many years ago of the Death-God who was the Grim Reaper wearing a Red Robe but carrying a Blood-Red Flag. The painting shows this aspect of the Hidden God - hidden from view at this time. It is the Wolf-God who is Woden in the form that we see him within the Woden Brotherhood.

The Walknut or Wolf-Knot is the symbol that binds the Wolf-Warrior to the Wolf-God Woden, and should be used by those who follow the path of the Wolf-God. In itself it is symbolic of the links between the Three Worlds (3 x 3 worlds, but with the three levels - Underworld - Midgard - Asgard), symbolic of their being interlinked and not seen as separate worlds, as we tend to do today.

It is important to first know the symbolism that we must use in order to revive the Germanic Mannerbund, and it is also important to understand that these Cultic Warriors represented the Mythical Einheriar and were the upholders of Tribal Order (at their own tribal level) and Cosmic Order (since their struggles would have been seen as a reflection of the Eternal struggle between the Gods and the Jotun).

Cultic Brotherhood

Woden Brotherhood - Cultic Brotherhood

A brotherhood of folk coming together is not enough as an Inner Order since this requires a Cultic Brotherhood with its own unique rites and initiations - it has to be a Cultic Initiation Brotherhood. This must have its own initiations which have to be undertaken in order for people to get involved. These will be a higher level than Wodenic Profession and the initiation process must be far harder and far more structured in order to test the candidate as to their abilities and also their dedication and the will to struggle against all odds.

The Woden Brotherhood will become the Inner Order of the Woden Folk-Religion and will be based upon a Cultic Brotherhood with Cultic Initiations. It will have within it a Cultic Warrior Order which will be known as the Wolf Brotherhood based upon the Wolf Totem. This section will deal with the teaching and training through the Ulfhednar Combat & Survival, training in the Warrior Arts (Martial Arts) and Survivalism. The symbol of the Wolf-Hook Rune will be used within these orders, as well as the Holy Fylfot which is one of our most sacred symbols.

We have always worked through small groups and our aim never was to form a large organisation, since numbers are not important to us. We know that we have a large following, not only here in England but in other lands too. Our aim is to lead by example, and to create a Folkish Heathen Movement made up of independent groups and individuals who are working towards the same end, promoting the same ideology, ideas and weltanshauung.

The Woden Brotherhood will promote the ancient Irmin-Cult (Ar-Man Cult) which was the basis of the religion of the Saxon Nation. This will become a new form of 'priesthood' but not in the sense of an organised religion, but as a form of magico-mystical warrior-elite trained for leadership when the time comes. We have to lead by our own example since we do not command the discipline of the establishment and its forces. We have to gain the respect of our followers which is a far cry from the way that the established order maintains control, through creating fear and through the bullying of individuals into submission.

The Woden Brotherhood will be an Oath Brotherhood which is the basis of any Cultic Brotherhood, and an oath cannot be broken since to do so makes the offender a Warg in the Woods - an 'outcast' from the Tribe of Woden. This is why an oath cannot be made unless it can be kept. An oath is a bond, and this binds us together as a group, and binds us together with our Gods and Ancestors. This set-up is akin to the ancient Germanic Mannerbund but in a modern form to suit the era in which we are living.

The aim of this will be to get people away from the materialistic consumer society and the rampant technological nightmare, and to recreate the barbaric ethos needed to experience 'God' once more - a new experience of 'God'. This is the true aim of any religion, and the true meaning of the word 'religion' - the direct experience of the divine. We do not need a 'priesthood' that mediates between man and the gods, we need a religion which encourages everyone involved to directly experience the gods.

The one thing that set Woden's Folk apart from other groups was that we were ever-changing and ever-evolving. The 'wind of change' sent by Woden acts like a 'hurricane' blasting away the old, renewing our movement in a new form in order to survive the onslaught that we will always have to face through the work of disruption by the enemies of our Folk. We have arisen stronger than before, with the will to carry on this struggle against all odds.

Welcome to the Woden Brotherhood

Woden Brotherhood

Welcome to the new BlogSpot for the Woden Brotherhood which is the Inner Order of the Woden Folk-Religion. Those who enter this Warrior Order do so through the Call of the Blood. The aim of this Order is to work as the Mystery Religion or the Cult of Woden as the esoteric side of the Woden Folk-Religion, promoting and spreading the Ancient Wisdom through the Ar-Kan Rune-Lag which is the unique runic system devised within Woden's Folk.

Woden's Folk acts as the Hub of the Wheel of Woden whilst the Woden Brotherhood is that inner point at the very centre of the Folkish Movement. Around this revolves the Woden Folk-Religion and the English Resistance which is a non-centralised and non-structured movement. This involves a network of independent groups and individuals who are all working towards the same goals, with the same ideas, ideology and weltanshauung - a Folkish Movement.

There is one thing that stands Woden's Folk apart, and that is our esoteric work which forms the core of the growing Spiritual Movement. This esoteric work is always evolving and growing, step by step as we form a new ideology and a new weltanshauung. The core of this work is that of ideas which are far more dangerous than action at this particular time. One important aspect of that work is the Ancient Runes.

The guiding light to the runic revival was undoubtedly Guido von List, and today through such figures as Miguel Serrano and also Edred Thorsson. Working in different ways these figures have carried the Light of Knowledge forwards into this era - and era in which we await the coming of the Last Avatar. There are also many other rune-workers out there who have also continued the evolution of the runes in some way or another, and we should show respect for these people who share our great struggle - even though they may work in a different way than we do.

The symbol of the Wolf-Hook Rune is the Symbol of Resistance and has become the symbol of the English Resistance in its Folkish form. This is the Rune of Wid-Ar and the Wid-Ar Current (55-Current) which is the herald of the English Awakening and the preparation for the coming of the Last Avatar.

'We do hold hope for Woden's Folk, we hold hope for what remains of the Germanic Spirit in the Isle of Albion, in England...Miguel Serrano held hope for Woden's Folk and England, which he thought to be one of the last remnants of Aryan Land....'

Siddhareich Blog

We cannot - and will not - let down such a figure as Miguel Serrano and the lasting memory of his work and his sacrifice for the Folk. We cannot - and will not - let down those who have held faith in what we - Woden's Folk - have been doing now for sixteen years. Our Divine Mission was to prepare the way for the Coming of The Hooded Man (The Last Avatar) who will appear here in the White Island - the Isle of Albion. Albion - the Seventh Sword of Wayland - which will be 're-forged' by Woden's Folk as the rekindled Saxon Nation that will lead the English Nation to freedom and to the Final Victory (End-Sieg).

The Woden Brotherhood existed in name only until we were forced into change, but now it exists in form and is the core of Woden's Folk and the Woden Folk-Religion, which itself forms the core of the English Resistance Movement. Worn on the ritual robes of the Woden Brotherhood is the Death's Head which is symbolic of Woden - the One-Eyed Hunter-God.

The Woden Brotherhood is a Shadow Brotherhood, acting as a kind of dark shadow to Woden's Folk, and works solely at the esoteric level rather than the exoteric level. Within this Warrior Order is another hidden level known only to those who are active within it.

Woden's Folk is the publishing outlet for the Woden Folk-Religion, but it is far more than that - it is the core of the WFR and as such acts as the new Teaching Order within the Woden Folk-Religion. This is the first attempt (as far as I am aware) that a Wodenist Group has come up with the idea of teaching and training people to become Wodenists of the future. This is not merely a physical training program but a new and virile spiritual training program open to anyone who reads our websites and blogs. (The work is there for those who want to take this up.)

Woden's Folk was formed on April 23rd 1998 and entered a period of disruption and chaos which formed the process of 'death & destruction', was 'resurrected' on Sunday April 20th 2014, moving through the rebirth period into April 23rd 2014, and then through the 'Night of the Long Knives' - Walpurgis Night 2014 - into May Day (May 1st) when the final process ended with the complete 'rebirth' of WF into a new and virile form that would finally usher in the era of preparation for the Coming of The Hooded Man which forms the core of Wolf's Prophecy.

The English Resistance Movement grew out of Woden's Folk and became the gathering-force for the English Folk against the Dark Forces of the Jotun. Our work became well known through the YouTube videos of our Sacred Torchlight Rite at Avebury and then at Wayland's Smithy. This will not end there and will be continued into the future through our work of the English Resistance.

The Irmin Cult or Ar-Man Cult now stands at the centre of the Woden Folk-Religion since the knowledge of the role of the Saxon Nation was shown in its full meaning. (I was advised by an unknown individual some years ago to adopt the idea of the Saxon Nation - he wrote this in the Holy Runes - but did not take this up. I have realised now that this was an error on my part which will now be put right, and to this individual I now owe a 'thanks'. This, perhaps, shows the power of Woden to work through various different individuals, until such time as the Vital Power is concentrated into The Chosen One (Last Avatar) when the whole thing comes into manifestation.)

The Long Man of Wilmington is the Sacred Centre of the Cult of Woden and thus of the Woden Folk-Religion. This figure is that of the Waendal who is the 'world-turner' and an aspect of Woden as The Fool. He stands within a 'gateway', indeed, he is opening the Gateway to the Gods - facing the North, towards At-al-land/Thule and to the Ur-Lands of the English Folk. Just to the east of this hill-figure is Hunter's Burgh which (in name) reflects that of the One-Eyed Hunter-God - Woden - and which is balanced in the west by the White Horse which is the Steed of the Last Avatar. Above this hill-figure is a Long Barrow in which is buried Eight Bottles in the shape of the Fylfot-Swastika, bottles that bore the image of Father Time holding a blond-haired, blue-eyed boy depicting this Millennium Ale and buried on the night of August 10th 1999, powered by a ritual at 11.00 the next day on August 11th 1999 - powered to awaken the Aryan Millennium and the Last Avatar.

He will come - riding a White Horse and carrying a Flaming Sword ('Battle-Flame') which is the Sword of Hengest (passed to Woden's Folk) - and bearing the true symbol of the White Dragon (the Coiled Winged Serpent) on his shield, and heralded by the appearance of the Hale-Bopp Comet, arising from the Sacred Mountain of the Arya. This is Wid-Ar - the Man to Come - and he is the Last Avatar and the Resurrection of Woden as the Woodland Warrior.

When the Wild Hunt rides England will tremble!
